I was approached by the Melange Foundation to donate a piece to the silent auction of their annual fundraiser. I suggested we do something a little bigger than just a one off donation. I asked, "What if I designed a piece that would raise awareness while continuing to raise funds for Breast Cancer?" They were thrilled! And so I got to work carving the little vessel which would hold a few grains of Bermuda's beautiful pink sand and serve as a small symbol for a very big cause.

Each piece is lovingly handmade in 14k gold and pink Bermuda sand in my local studio. It measures 14 mm wide and 20 mm long. 

The proceeds for every piece go directly to the Melange Foundation and The Bermuda Cancer & Health Centre to help pay for treatments and medications for those who cannot afford it.
